I played the first three episodes on Hurt Me Plenty, since I'm new to the game, and I started in on TFC on the same difficulty. I had a decent idea of how the BFG works, which probably helped! I saw my poor dead Daisy, and, well, outside of that I'm really happy with this game! It holds up excellently.īut then I started Thy Flesh Consumed and I'm not. I shot a bunch of things with the BFG-9000, and it was a hoot. I had no intent to actually beat the game, but beat it I did! The Spiderdemon is hella dead. Well, today I got to the end of The Shores of Hell, and I fought me the Cyberdemon, and friends, I decided I was gonna keep going. I haven't been finding all the secrets, but I'm averaging about 50%. I'd been playing the game real intermittently, taking is slow-ish, like long sips of cool water.

I like the way the levels are built, I like running around and fighting enemies, I like grabbing an item and hearing the sound of a door sliding open behind me.

You know what's a fun game? Doom is a fun game. So I've been playing Doom for the first time on my Switch.
